HI! I’M HELEN. I’m a UX architect living in Tampa, Florida. Entirely self-taught, I’ve been pushing pixels since I was 13 years old. I’ve devoured hundreds of tutorials, books, and articles on the principles of design and development in the name of achieving my dream of a career as a digital creator. Presently, I oversee development of new product enhancements, UX maintenance and copy, and exploratory projects for an information security SaaS. In my day-to-day, both on and off the clock, I try to create user experiences that merge accessibility, aesthetics, and functionality. I started my professional career in 2014 and I’ve worn many hats over the years, from A (associate designer) to Z (zmarketing coordinator), so if you need a job done, I can (probably!) do it. In my leisure time, I enjoy competitive fighting games, making and consuming music, cooking, baseball, hockey, and my pets.
